A NOTE TO MINORS: Minors are only allowed in this forum if they are respectable, mature and do not ask questions about getting tattooed or pierced illegally or behind their parents' backs. We are also not going to tell you how to convince your parents to allow you to get tattooed or pierced - if you can't figure that out yourself, you are not mature enough to get one anyway.

IF YOU ARE NOT A PROFESSIONAL TATTOO ARTIST OR PIERCER, DO NOT ACT LIKE ONE! If you have an experience to share, fine. If you have advice to share based on your own personal experiences, fine. But if you start giving out bad and potentially harmful advice on this forum, you will be REMOVED - no questions asked.

NO TECH TALK ON THE PUBLIC FORUM! We will not talk about tattooing or piercing techniques on the public forum. If you are a professional tattoo artist or piercer (and can prove it), you may ask for permission to join the private Shop Talk folder just for that purpose.

NO FLAMING! When any poster is identified by the participants in a discussion as one who is upsetting the others by posting responses that are felt to be attacking in nature or discrediting to others, the overall climate of the thread will prevail in determining if harrassment has occurred, regardless of how the posts are worded or how the perceived harrassment may be disguised by the offender as merely being an illumination of "the truth." This has occurred too often here, so the scenerio is now incorporated in our rules. Offending posts will be deleted and the person identified by the majority of the other posters will lose forum access.

    A. We will delete any spam or commercial posts. Please do not post to sell something or involve anyone in a money-making proposition. Flames or rude / insensitive remarks will be removed. Users who are disruptive may be gagged at the Guide's discretion.

    A. As with most places on the Internet, you may make your URL part of your "signature" by typing it under your name at the end of your posts, but please do not place commercial posts on the forum. They will be considered spam and be deleted.
